“The only place you’ll find a large group of human beings coexisting perfectly without any conflict is the cemetery.”

About Equilibrium: Center for Restorative Wellness

Our Belief.

Conflict is natural. Conflict is everywhere. It is ongoing and inevitable. For people of color especially, experiences of conflict are compounded by levels of trauma resulting from long-lasting effects of colonization and systemic racism.

This often leaves people trapped within their own conflict loops and repeating harmful cycles in their attempts to find solutions.

And for organizations who want to create and maintain equitable experiences for their teams, it is critical that any Justice, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work takes these factors into account and has a plan for addressing the conflict that comes with trying to make change.

Our Practice.

We have seen, firsthand, the transformational benefits of combining mindful practices such as meditation and art with the harmonious healing power of comprehensive communication, mediation, and conflict coaching.

We offer this to our clients by utilizing conflict resolution along with physical movement, outdoor activity, art practice and personally customized workshops tailored to the interests, needs, and most importantly, strengths of each group we work with.

This provides generous space for meaningful reflection and healing of personal, relational, and generational trauma in an environment that feels nurturing and cathartic. This assists you in your journey to improved emotional, spiritual and professional wellness.
